Annual Penguin Festival Port Elizabeth

Our Port Elizabeth Penguin Festival is taking place at the SANCCOB centre in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve on Saturday 5 October.

Ticket sales at the door start at 08h30 for those not purchasing online.

Entry costs for Adults will be R50 and R30 for children under 12 and senior citizens.

We urge runners to purchase tickets online to facilitate our planning.

The Fun Run starts at 09.30 when we will run to the lighthouse and back to the centre. The total distance is about 4km. All runners, walkers, pushchairs and wheelchairs are welcome to participate!

A penguin release (weather permitting) is scheduled to happen at 11.30 on the beach.

We are honoured to have Algoa FM announcer Daron Mann as our Master of Ceremonies. A prize-giving follows the race where there will be a lucky draw and raffle prizes. There will be food vendors, craft stalls and SANCCOB merchandise on sale.

Bring your camp chairs and/or picnic blankets along.
