With Spring comes the opportunity for rejuvenation and fresh growth. While nature will take care of itself, it is a deliberate choice you make to rejuvenate the delivery and performance of the talks you deliver. We are pleased to welcome one of South Africa’s finest award winning speakers to our gathering this month, to guide you in doing just that.
Paul du Toit, CSP is the author of 2 books on speaking. He is a speaker and presentation skills coach and was also the 2nd President of PSASA (2005/6). Paul’s talk on avoiding the pitfalls that make us unprofessional will be of value to seasoned speakers and novices alike.
Our Member Spotlight this month shines on Lois Strachan and the new direction of her speaking career. We wrap up the session with a mini workshop so you leave with an action plan to delight your next audience.

In this presentation Paul asks the simple question: Since professional speakers are generally subject experts with good content, why do they do such an average job at presenting their material? Perhaps it’s because the best speakers aren’t subject experts and the best subject experts aren’t good speakers. Fortunately both problems can be fixed.
