Envisioning The Future – and creating the buy-in required from stakeholders in order to get there

Wed Sep 18, 09:00 - Wed Sep 18, 12:00

The Children's Memorial Institute - The Boardroom @ Ei8ht

ABOUT

Often social entrepreneurs find themselves short on time to think deeply about what they would like their organisation to look like, and the role that they would like to be playing in that organisation, in the future. This 3 hour Workshop works with a set of thinking tools to open the opportunity to think about and articulate what you desire for your future, and for the future of your non profit. Visionary thinking is critical to purpose, learn this skill to explore organisational values and what is required to achieve your vision.

Facilitated by Sue Cloete-Hopkins - Sue is an Executive Coach, Strategy and Financial Management Consultant. Sue fully appreciates the challenges faced by Entrepreneurs and with her business qualifications – B.Comm; ACMA, coaching qualifications (ICF, Comensa accredited) and extensive experience, has equipped her to serve and support Entrepreneurs on their journeys to creating sustainable, effective, efficient and flourishing organisations.

This workshop is ideally suited for busy leaders of non profits who are looking for a way to make their vision a reality. This workshop will help leaders to clarify, articulate and document their vision in order to generate the buy-in of key stakeholders.

Our training rates have been carefully costed for the non profit sector while ensuring we are able to attract the best talent to facilitate the training and share their expertise, growing your knowledge and skills. Our 3 hour interactive Workshops are R520 per person, add R110 for the one hour Discussion and Coaching Session. Total cost - R630 per person. Members of Ei8ht receive 25% off all Workshops – email [email protected] to become part of our Community.

Our 3 hour Workshops are based on experiential learning – you will engage in case studies and discussions to ensure that the learning sticks and is not just a one way flow of information. Location, location, location – all training is facilitated at The Children’s Memorial Institute, we are on the Rea Veya and Taxi routes. If travelling by car we are just off Empire with easy access from the M1 motorway, parking is free. Healthy bodies, healthy minds – we offer healthy snacks and beverages – included in the training rates.

The one hour Discussion and Coaching Sessions are essential and are held two weeks after the interactive Workshop using the Zoom on line platform. Unpack your learnings and experiences and we will work with you to ensure that the learning is embedded back into your organisation. The Zoom Session for this Workshop is on Wednesday 2nd October – 14h00 – 15h00.

Workshops are limited to Ei8ht participants, booking is essential. We required a minimum of 5 participants to host the Workshops.
