ABOUT

Making Every Moment Count: A Day Course on Death Awareness

About the Course:

We are alive, therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have really come to terms with this fact. Buddha gave extensive teachings on the death process, and on how to use an awareness of our death to live a more full and meaningful life.

In Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully, Geshe Kelsang explains the importance of contemplating and planning for our own death. If we do so, “when death actually comes we shall feel like a child returning to the home of its parents, and pass away joyfully, without fear.”

About the Teacher:

Gen Kelsang Mila was ordained in 2010 and has been Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre's resident teacher since September 2010.
