The Makers Valley Collective presents the Makers Market

The Makers Market happens on the first weekend of the month, from 2pm to 9pm. Hosted in the Makers Valley the market is made possible through collaborations with Moon Valley Studios, skilled makers and residents of the Makers Valley. Visitors at the market are treated to local entertainment, innovation, cultural exchange and get to see how inclusive well-being is being implemented in the neighborhood. The market promotes voluntary participation and collective place-making through curated activities which take place during the Market. 

The Makers Market features:

·      Workshops: Dance, acting, music, craft & design, dialogues & networking sessions

·      Exhibitions and Trader Stalls: showcase of local hand-made items, art and designs by skilled makers. Opportunities for visitors to exchange, showcase, learn or purchase

·      Live performances: variety of local entertainment, fashion, culture and flair

·      Guided Tours: guided walkabouts through the neighborhood, meet local residents and makers, visit the various makers-hubs and maker-spaces, an opportunity to learn more about the history of the neighborhood and the various types of making in the area

Using the Asset Based Approach Makers Valley Collective encourages and works with residents, makers, businesses, property developers and local government to make the Makers Valley a good place to live, work and enjoy inclusive well-being and co-creating
