ABOUT

Dear Speakers,

As you build your speaking business, many gurus will encourage you to focus on your positioning, your marketing and your content. Whether you're a subject matter specialist or a motivational speaker, one can easily forget that getting recurring invitations to speak and leaving our clients delighted and wanting more is deeply rooted in how we engage others, how we leave them feeling and how we recognise and appreciate them. With this in mind, we have invited renowned Canadian speaker Sarah McVanel, CSP and chapter president of the Toronto Chapter, CAPS to share her talk on recognition as a best practice that builds a thriving speaking business. You will be challenged to rethink how you engage your clients, your colleagues and brand your business.

This month we also welcome home our chapter's Deputy President, Unotida Nyoni from his 2 months abroad with The Mandela Washington Fellowship. Unotida will be sharing some of the key lessons he learned during his intense leadership program. We invite you to discover how you can gain from his insights and learning.

We look forward to hosting you at our August meeting at SPACES, Sunclare Building Claremont for another event that is invaluable, inspiring and not to be missed!

Warm regards,

Hani du Toit
