ABOUT
2014 winners of the Barclaycard Mercury Prize, Young Fathers, are on their way to South Africa. In partnership with British Council Connect ZA and Okayafrica, South African beats platform Weheartbeat and Cape Town’s Assembly Radio are hosting a massive two-city tour for the Scotland alt-rap heavyweights. Last year in August, The British Council and the South African Department of Arts and Culture launched an open call for proposals from creative artists and institutions to be part of the SA-UK Seasons project, bringing all new collaborations to the live music scenes in their respective cities. The result is a week of sight-seeing, Meet 'n Greet sessions and live performances in association with RedBull Studios, Supremebeing and LiveMagSA, alongside some of South Africa’s best in live music..LINEUP:
