ABOUT

The good life, in the 21st century, is often defined in terms of economic success and the consuming of material goods. This definition has not only led to individual alienation and isolation, but also to societal decay and environmental destruction. In this seminar, Zulfiqar Awan (see bio below) will look back to ancient thinkers such as Cicero and Seneca for an alternative definition and modern day reevaluation of what constitutes a good life.

We advise arriving 15 mins early for individuals wishing to purchase hot drinks.
