ABOUT

This one-day workshop will cover the acts and legislation related to practicing as a psychologist in South Africa. The workshop is relevant for all categories of intern psychologists preparing for the board exam. 

The workshop will be presented by the following speakers:


Doret Kirsten

Doret is a Clinical and Educational Psychologist, and a senior lecturer at North West University. She has 23 years of experience in training students of psychology, and has multiple national and international publications.


Luke Lamprecht

Luke is the Director of Fight with Insight. He is a long standing advocate for child protection and a convenor for the Johannesburg Child Advocacy Forum.


Brandon Swanepoel

Brandon is an educational psychologist in private practice. He is also the school psychologist for St Vincent School for the Deaf, and the chair of the joint EPASSA-SASPA (South African School Psychologists Association) Ethics Committee.
