What is Pursuit Conference 2019 about?

We are so excited to be hosting our very first conference on the 13-14 of September. Having been on our heart since our formation in 2017, we are trusting that this conference will be the first of many Christ-centred, life-changing, destiny-shaping gatherings, that will mark our generation. God is truly moving in power and love, and our greatest desire is to see our brothers and sisters encounter Christ and walk in intimate relationship with Him.

Our Context

For over a century numerous prophetic words have been written and spoken about God lighting a fire in Cape Town, which will spread - like a wildfire - into our nation, north into continent, and then to the rest of the world. We believe God is calling our generation to be carriers of this prophetic fire - a fire formed and forged from walking with Jesus and choosing His will and way above all else. We sense the Spirit of God “search(ing) the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).

We invite you to come and join with us in asking God for an outpouring of His Presence on our hungry generation. Will you join us? Will you believe with us, as we learn to lay down our lives in pursuit of Christ?

NB:

*Food-breaks: Due to our limited budget, we unfortunately won’t be able to provide food during the lunch and dinner breaks. However, our venue is beautifully situated, not far from several restaurants and fast-food places, and time is allotted for you to grab some food.

**Prophetic Ministry: We believe that a moment of encounter with Jesus can change everything. One powerful way God touches us is through speaking to, and over us, prophetically. With this in mind, we have invited a group of prophets in the city to join us on Saturday afternoon. They will be ministering to individuals during the lunch and supper breaks. We HIGHLY recommend you make sure to be present for one of these ministry sessions.

FAQs:

Is the conference centred around worship? Is it only for worship leaders?

• No! Although we are a worship movement (believing God is particularly moving through worship in our generation!), Pursuit Conference 2019 is not a worship conference. It is open to anyone - of any age - who desires a fresh touch from God.

How much does the conference cost?

• Pursuit Conference 2019 is FREE as we really don’t want anyone to miss out on what God is doing. However, there are costs involved in making the conference happen. We would sincerely appreciate if you would consider making a donation towards the conference costs. You can do so either on Quicket (via “donations”, when booking your ticket), or at the conference itself - we will have a time for offerings during both evening sessions.

Is there secure parking at the venue?

• Yes! There is a parking lot right opposite Grace Chapel Christian Church, our beautiful venue, at 9 Clyde Street, Woodstock.
