ABOUT

The Importance of Coaching in the Human Economy

The world is in the middle of a major transition. Gone are the days of stability and safety where employees could count on a stable job for life. Artificial intelligence and small off-shore start-ups are growing as threats to employees and companies alike. This is leading to an increase in fear and toxicity in organisations. In a recent study, we noted that 50% of respondents identified their work environment as being one of high blame!

Such an environment calls for new ways of working. New ways of leading. And, new, integrated ways of being. This interactive presentation explains how as Coaches, we are the secret to this transition and explores how building mastery can evolve leadership. It will help Coaches to better understand this thing we call ‘being’ and how to leverage it to increase interdependence in all of our relationships (professional and personal).

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Describe the global transition to the Human Economy
  • Identify evidence that the world is ready to transition
  • Recognise the importance of coaching to build interdependence
  • Evaluate how you are Being as a Coach to powerfully partner with clients
  • Discuss recovery strategies for when they are triggered as a coach to return to powerful partnership

This presentation will primarily focus upon Co-creating the Relationship

  • Establishing Trust and Intimacy with the Client
  • Coaching Presence

It will also have relevance to Communicating Effectively

  • Active Listening
  • Powerful Questioning
  • Direct Communication
