THE ROOF GARDEN BAR

ABOUT

event is driven by the resounding call of encore when we dream of sharing our music at home in Port Elizabeth,

''as the name of the band Umle is inspired by the fact that they want the audience to be left with an enduring feeling after listening and watching their performance .Their music is the fire , their performance is the fuel that ignites and kindles it.''

''We chose the name Umle because we want people to be left with a feeling long after they've listened to us''.

''Using a combination of urban xhosa words and tsotsi - taal , Umle has created a completely new genre that will

disrupt the South African music scene. Urban Xhosa folk meets hip - electric - Maskandi, as pioneered by these gentlemen is PE next offering to the world.''

the event is themed 'Kwedin'cowboy' from the short film /documentary they did in their Neighbourhood Kwa Dwesi in PE

They will also be screening the short film/ doccie that was shot by Ntsikelelo Mavata & Sisonke Papu edited by Sisonke Papu on the day of the event.
