Korretjie Kantel 

Luna Paige, Nick Turner and Jamie Jupiter are no strangers to the Cape Town music scene. All three are powerful singer-songwriters in their own right.In 2016 they joined forces for a conceptual music project titled 'Korreltjie Kantel’ which showcases the works of iconic author/poets Ingrid Jonker and Andre P Brink, as well as their own music . After successes at major art festivals and a SAMA nomination for the Korreltjie Kantel album, these three musicians, together with two excellent South African actors, will soon be heading out to Netherlands and Belgium to perform the music/theatre production 'Korreltjie Kantel’ there. This performance at Rootspring is in aid of this adventure which takes place in October 2019 so all ticket and CD sales at will contribute towards the Korreltjie Kantel tour abroad. The musicians will be performing songs from the Korreltjie Kantel show and will throw in a couple of other original tunes ! Come and experience why this show has such a long shelf life, why it was nominated for a SAMA (despite being different and everything but mainstream) and help these three artists fulfill their dream abroad. Viva local talent abroad!
