ABOUT
On the 13th of September, we hold a TEDxUniversityofPretoria event themed #ChasingChange. At the event, our speakers and audience members will be encouraged to embrace change in the various forms that it may come in. Change can be perspective, growth, understanding, wonder and much more. Our speakers will touch on various topics that fall under this theme, all meant to spark deep discussion and connection amongst and with our audience. Our performers will also aim to inspire and create an atmosphere of networking and knowledge sharing.
Our event is called TEDxUniversityofPretoria, where x = independently organized TED event. The global TED (Technology Entertainment Design) Conference blueprint provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized by a group of students at the University of Pretoria.
Our speakers have been through a rigorous process to refined and present their ideas, that could change humanity. Our teams have worked to curate the best possible event experience for our audience members. Join us as we explore ideas worth spreading, focused on creating positive impacts in our community, the University of Pretoria and the world at large.
