After a successful and dramatic event in September 2018, where education platform Heavy Chef hosted S’onqoba Maseko, Sam Paddock and former South African President Thabo Mbeki, we are excited to announce the follow-up event one year later. On Thursday evening 5th September at The President Hotel in Sea Point, we will discuss education in Africa, how the 4th Industrial Revolution is impacting education and how Africa must evolve in order to meet the challenge and thrive. Sam Paddock and former South African President Thabo Mbeki will appear on stage again. This year, this esteemed panel will be joined by Rapelang Rabana, one of SA’s most respected voices on education. This event is a collaboration between Thabo Mbeki Foundation, Discovery and Heavy Chef.
This event will be held at the iconic President Hotel at the Western edge of Cape Town's stunning Sea Point beachfront. Thabo Mbeki Foundation's Lukhanyo Neer will MC the event and complimentary wine and beverages will be served.
