To warm up a wintery Sunday afternoon, songstress Louise Howlett brings her Blues in the Night programme to Erin Hall with pianist Albert Combrink, Charl Clayton on saxophone and Dylan Tabisher on bass.

Surrounded by the men in her life, Louise sings her blues on Broadway from the early 1930’s of Harold Arlen to staples from Legrand and Lloyd-Webber to the new era of Jason Robert Brown and Alice Gillham's Calling us Home.

The music is sultry and the stories inbetween will, in turn, pull your heartstrings then laugh them loose again.
