Runaway Nuns:
Simply put, Runaway Nuns are five friends making the kind of music that drives people to fall in love with themselves and who they can be. They’re a garage, surf, punk rock band that takes gang vocals, spacey riffs, punk progressions and colossal drums, and gleefully melds them into one of the most exciting sounds to come out of Cape Town in years. Fans love. Crowds love it. Heck, even their parents love it! But this is a press release, so of course it’d say all this. The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating. Black Math
Black Math is an electrifying, raw and unforgiving three-piece rock band from Durban. Tyla Burnett plays bass. Cam Lofstrand plays guitar and the voice box. Acacia Van Wyk plays drums. The three friends from school shared a deep love for music, resulting in their formation as a band in 2010. Their sound evolves constantly always reaching for the unexpected. Their music is honest and impressive.
