Until recently, Helen Zille was Premier of the Western Cape, the first one to complete two full terms, from 2009 until 2019. In an address to the Cape Town Press Club, Zille will reflect on those 10 years, and where the province and the country need to go from here
Previously, Zille was the Mayor of Cape Town, from 2006 to 2009, and she was the leader of the Democratic Alliance from 2007 to 2015.
Throughout her career, Zille has never shied away from vocalising her opinion on South Africa's political climate. Her controversial tweets have landed her and her party in hot water.
She will take questions and is sure to speak her mind on the current state of the official opposition and the governing party.
