Since 2005, Jacoline Wentzel has been the proud owner and in-house designer at The Spa Warehouse, a leading supplier of various prestigious spa brands, equipment and furniture. This distribution and design company is solely devoted to the industry that she loves and has seen her using her experience in various management roles with international and local companies such as Steiner Transocean, Elemis UK, Bioharmony and Nimue S.A., to successfully grow and development her own business and brand. She looks forward to sharing her 'winning formulations' as well as gives us a good hard look at the challenges that entrepreneurs will most certainly encounter - and how to make the most of them!

Nellie van der Walt is the owner of Veldfire, a Digital Marketing Agency with client across South Africa and abroad. After working for more than 10 years in corporate marketing management roles with familiar Winelands brands 'Simonsig' and "Backsberg', she decided to turn the constant tellings of friends and business owners that they...: “...know I need marketing but I don’t know how it works or where to start!”, into her startup business. Her passion for teaching people about marketing and really transforming a brand to its best version ultimately creates authentic customer engagements leading to sales and in her own words: 'I want to share some highlights from my journey with you and teach you how YOU can also take

the next step to becoming your own boss or just to run your business more successfully.'

About Workshop17

Workshop17 is an exciting hub that exists to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship for a positive social and economic change. It is now the work place of more than 240 entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals and 80 companies. Corporates, government and civil society use the space daily for meetings, teachings and events. The public drops in for informal work and meetings in the café. The community buzz is felt every day!

Workshop17 Tabakhuis is a historical building in Paarl and forms part of the heritage area. The building was once used as a storage facility for tobacco which led to the naming of the property which we have transformed into a work and meeting place for a community. Tabakhuis is centred around the social workspace within the café environment aimed to encourage idea generation, collaboration and sharing between startups, seasoned professionals, small and large companies, entrepreneurs and freelancers. Tabakhuis offers over 140 hot desks, 16 private offices, 4 semi-private offices, meeting rooms and boardrooms along with a fully equipped seminar room located on the ground floor with easy access to the café.
