SPEAKERS :

Eileen Brewer, managing Director at Golden Seeds ,and speaker at Grace Hoppers Conference 2019 about where to meet Angel Investors and how to pitch them when you do get an opportunity and why telling a good story about your product is so crucial. She is a Managing Director at Golden Seeds, an investing group of over 250 angel investors across the United States. Her investments are focused on female led companies and has listened to well over 100 startup pitches all over the world, and she always participates in panels and judging events. Eileen also brings us 20 years of experience from Silicon Valley. She is currently a Director at Symantec where she leads teams in building enterprise cybersecurity B2B products. 

Lelemba Phiri is an award winning educator, writer, keynote speaker and gender-lens angel investor. She is the Principal at the Africa Trust Group that takes a holistic approach to investing in early stage women businesses by investing in both the woman entrepreneur and the enterprise; and facilitating their access to markets and critical business tools. She is a director and shareholder for Zoona, an African mobile payments. she was a key part of successfully growing the business from one operating market to three, raising over $25m in financing and scaling of their agent network. This has created over 5000 jobs across Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique and since inception, over $2bn has been transacted over their mobile payment platform.

Nick Bradshaw from Cortex Logic An African Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software And Solutions Company That Helps Your Business Thrive In The Smart Technology Era. Nick has worked in Europe, North America & Africa with a diverse set of Multi $bn global clients. Having built and exited a Microsoft Gold software business and consulted with multiple tech start-ups, he has gone onto launch AI Media, creators of Africa's largest business focused AI community (AI Expo Africa) and Africa's first AI & Data Science Magazine (Synapse). As CEO Cortex Ventures he is now leading the growth of the African AI landscape with the creation of Africa’s first AI only focused VC company.
