ABOUT
Celebrating the 67 years that Nelson Mandela fought for social justice and in honour of his birthday, the St John's Prep UIII Class is raising funds for the St John's Prep Academy.
The St John's Prep Academy began in 2019. 20 Grade 5 learners join us on Campus from neighbouring inner-city schools 3x a week for English and maths enrichment. Next year the group moves up to Grade 6. The Prep Academy will grow with them to see them through to the end of Grade 7. A fresh intake of Grade 5 boys will join the Academy every year going forward.
Time: 6:00pm for 6:30pm race time start
Dress: running/walking clotes, please dress warmly with beanies and gloves
Food: You can pre-order food online with Quicket but will also be available for purchase on the night
Drinks: Assorted hot drinks and cool beverages will be available for purchase on the night
Location and parking: Meet on Mitchell Field at St John's College. Main entrance off of St John Road. Additional parking available on Rice Field .
Race Route: 2.5km and 5km race route throughout St John's College grounds
Bring head torches if you have them. Glow in the dark goodies will be available for purchase on the night.
