The Event

We're going on a train ride to Cullinan to raise awareness around Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs) and have a bit of family flavoured fun at the same time!

Join us in raising awareness this coming CHD Awareness Day 2015. We’ll be boarding a steam train to Cullinan for a journey filled with fun and laughter and we’d really love it if you and your families joined us for the day.

Tickets cost R250 for adults and R100 per child; as this is not a fundraising exercise, these costs cover the basic cost of the train hire but will include fun activities for the kids on the train like the reading of a Congenital Heart Defects Awareness book, face painting, clowns, a jumping castle and music.

When we reach Cullinan, we will have more fun stuff for the kids to do and we’ll be keeping you updated around activities as and when they are secured.

The cost of the ticket does not include food; you are most welcome to pack a picnic basket or purchase food at Cullinan, which boasts a range of outlets that serve delicious eats and drinks. We are finalising the details of the trip but for right now, we’ll be heading out to the train station in Pretoria very early on Saturday, 14 February 2014, boarding the train for a +-2.5 hour journey to Cullinan, spending a few hours in the town and then heading back.
