ABOUT
Soul Tribe Trance Dance is a conscious dance meditation with its roots in Shamanism and inspired by Osho's Kundalini meditation. Using movement, music and breath, close your eyes and let your spirit guide you into dance, healing and transcendence.
A space for you to allow your body to move as it needs to move, whether in time to the music or not. The music acts as a catalyst for you to allow your self healing to take place.
A 10 minute sound healing completes your journey.
'Take a few moments of silence and call yourself into the presence of the Divine, or whatever it is you consider sacred. During these moments, create an intention for a dream change or something that you wish to accomplish through the dance. In this way, the dance begins to take on shamanic elements,... since the shaman always enters the sacred realm for a specific purpose. Setting an intention also focuses and begins to ally the different parts of the mind in a shared task.'
Class starts at 6:30pm Doors open at 6pm so feel free to arrive early to warm up and get into your body.
The dance is best done with closed eyes. You are welcome to bring a blindfold or scarf to cover your eyes.
Also bring a bottle of water. Wear comfy clothes you can move freely in. Bring a jersey or something warm for the lie down at the end.
This is an alcohol free, smoke free, shoe free, inhibition free, judgement free, wild space:)))
