ABOUT
Start the day with Women’s Health on the Nasdak. We’re hosting a pop-up yoga class for Media24 staff on Wednesday June 12. It’s going to be super slow and gentle and restorative, so no need to worry about showering afterwards, but bring your own mat or towel. The class will be all levels, so beginners or never-tried-yoga-before are welcome! And it is open to both men and women.
Cotton On Body is throwing in a gift, so the first 50 women who sign up for the class will receive a pair of leggings and a workout tee. Sizes are limited, so if your size is not available, please grab a set for a daughter, sister, mother, friend and give a gift!
Tickets are free to book, but we will be accepting charitable donations of R100 at the door. (CASH ONLY PLEASE) This donation will go towards Earthchild and the class will count towards Volunteers24.
More on Earthchild

They work in eight schools in two townships in Cape Town – Lavender Hill and Khayelitsha. Their approach to education is holistic, focused on health and wellness, life skills and the environment through different programmes integrated with the schools’ curriculum. They do this through yoga and meditation, organic gardening and environmental education.
