ABOUT

Hone your ability to look with flower eyes and become part of the wave of conservation-inclined public. Enjoy fun and fascinating time in nature discovering and learning to identify the local winter-flowering fynbos with all the senses.
22 July -26 July

In this 5-day intermediate course we explore fynbos in three types of habitat: afro-montane both North and South of the Langeberg, Renosterveld and Sandveld. The course combines theoretical introduction and 4 guided excursions: Marloth Nature Reserve, Barrydale via Tradouws Pass, Haarwegskloof Renosterveld Trust and De Hoop. Leave with passion and pride for our unique fynbos, as well as tools for online plant identification. Learn where to find like-minded fynbos friends and gurus to help you discover their own special species passion.

In July we usually have cold nights and mornings, but days warm up and can reach 26 Deg C. However, on rainy days walking might be out of the question – then Plan B will come into play.
