Mandela Day calls on us all, every day, to make the world a better place. Each year on 18 July, we look back on what has been done, and forward to what will be done.

Woodrock Animal Rescue support Mandela Day in Mandela’s honour – continuing his legacy.

This year, we invite you to make a difference in the lives of rescue animals by assisting us in the construction of our much anticipated Agility Park.

Our Agility Park Dream

Woodrock Animal Rescue are continuously evolving and conceiving new ideas to keep up with our mission – Rescue, Rehabilitate, Re-home. We believe that having an Agility Park on our premises will grant us the opportunity to go one step further with the rehabilitation of our rescue animals

in various aspects. Furthermore, an Agility Park will be a great platform to strengthen bonds between our rescue dogs and our caretakers, as well as prospective adoptees.

What you will do

Woodrock Animal Rescue have allocated an entire week to continuing Mandela’s Legacy and constructing our Agility Park. Throughout the week of the 15th to the 19th of July 2019, we welcome you to visit Woodrock to build and paint various obstacles and equipment which will make up our agility park.
