Venue: Cape Union Mart, Canal Walk Adventure Centre, Cape Town
Join Cape Union Mart and Greenpop in partnership with Wild Magazine for a hands on day zero workshop focusing on being water-wise in and around the garden. Come ready to get your hands dirty as we teach you how to make succulent cuttings and how to propagate them. You'll then learn how to plant them in seedling trays upcycled from plastic bottles which you can take home. The best time to garden in Cape Town is in late autumn, so by the time spring comes, your succulents will be ready to be planted in your garden. Those who are interested can also learn how to make mini hydroponic systems out of two litre plastic bottles. Stay afterwards and gear up to tackle our in store climbing wall.
*This workshop is geared towards teenagers from age 13-19 years old. All materials will be provided. Space is limited.
