Who is this event for?

  • Church leaders who desire to better understand and support adoptive families and foster a spirit of adoption in their churches
  • Teachers and school leaders who seek to better relate to/ understand children who have experienced trauma, loss, or major life transitions
  • Adoptive and foster parents who could use some extra support, community, and resources
  • Kinship caregivers (gogos, uncles, etc) who are in the trenches caring for loved ones, while needing support and community
  • Step-parents who are trying to connect with children who have been through divorce, loss, or transitions
  • Children's Home House-mothers and community workers serving kids who have experienced trauma or loss
  • Those who are interested in adopting or fostering but would like to gain a better understanding of it first

We believe that adoption is near and dear to the heart of God, our Father. As such, it should be a priority in many spheres of life, especially in a place where so many precious children desperately need the love of family.

And yet, we find that there is such little support or understanding for those in the trenches of adoption and foster care. You are not alone. And we believe that God wants to see both you and the children you love and serve ROOTED and established on a firm foundation, with the love and care you and your family need. We want to see families flourishing and adoption as the beautiful thing it was created to be.

It is also our hope that as more support is offered, adoption will become more normal and that more children will experience the amazing love of family.
