In Part 3 of Just Breathe's Nature Yoga & Hike Series we take time to pause, slowing it down to a quieter practice as we create space to restore, relax, rejuvenate and renew. 


Join us for a morning outdoors as we explore yogic breathing techniques (pranayama), gentle, restorative yoga poses along with an introduction to mindfulness and meditation. Afterwards we head out for a gentle, mindful and silent hike, turning our awareness and focus more introspectively. 


With modern-day demands forcing us to be on the go 24-7, it is important to slow down for deep relaxation. A restorative yoga practice is essential to soothe the parasympathetic nervous system, helping in taking the edge off of our constant fight-flight response.

Time: 08h15 - 10h30

Tickets: R160.00 per person. Tickets are available through Quicket and ticket sales closes Wednesday, 24 July 2019. No tickets will be sold at the event and space is limited to 10.


Included in the ticket price is your entrance to the park, a 75-minute guided yoga class, a mindful 5km hike and a discount voucher for your next booking.


What to bring:




  • A yoga mat / towel - Limited yoga mats available on request only.
  • A sturdy blanket - IMPORTANT
  • Water
  • Comfortable walking shoes


Afterwards you are more than welcome to join for a coffee or breakfast and connect with new yoga friends. 

Please note that the walk is weather dependent. Our yoga class will be unaffected by the weather.

The event is open to all fitness levels and you don’t need to have attended Part 1 or 2 to join in on Part 3.

Introduction to standing balances and inversions. In this session we’ll be taking our practice upside down for a new fresh and playful perspective on life.


Part 5: Energise (November 2019)


Introduction to backbends. Backbends (or heart-openers) are generally energising and uplifting, giving us that extra bit of an energy boost to see the year through.


Attend all 5 and receive a special certificate of attendance!

About Mags


Mags started her yoga journey in 2010 and is a 200hr Vinyasa and Satyananda trained yoga instructor. She teaches weekly at Virgin Active Hillcrest and Limber Lotus Lifestyle Studio and also offers various pop-up events and retreats throughout the year.
