ABOUT

As technology is increasingly used to reach people across every level of African society, how do we ensure that the messages being constructed by the private and public sector around ethics and inclusivity, reputation and governance are reflective and inclusive of Africa’s diverse voices and cultures? It’s clear that each and every stakeholder group across the African diaspora, from civil society and Government, to media and business, has a vital role to play in piecing together and articulating this narrative. How do we in South Africa ensure that we are aligning our stories with the rest of Africa? How do we collectively, as Africans, find a voice which will arrive at a truly authentic Pan-African narrative? Is this possible? Is it even necessary and if so, why?

Africa Communications Week (ACW) is the premier gathering for communications professionals and thought leaders looking to impact the current narrative on Africa. Halogen Search & Selection and Botho Concepts in collaboration with IE School of Human Sciences and Technology are proud to be associated with Africa Communications Week and will be hosting Cape Town's flagship event in the form of a panel discussion to unpack the theme, Africa Calling: Driving Innovation Through Communication. Our panel comprises senior professionals and business owners from journalism, HR, fintech, digital media, design, reputation management and corporate communications. Join us and join the debate.
