On the 4th of May 2019, DJ Boogie will host Drip or Drown, at the luxurious Life Grand Café

in V&A Waterfront. The objective of the event is to set a tone for the Cape Town night life

on Saturdays. We seek to create a space where prominent night life enthusiasts can either

unwind after a hectic month of ‘hustling’, or gear up for a crazy night out on the first

Saturday of the month. Where opulence meets a little bit of debauchery; the intent is to be the

premier destination for night life enthusiasts, between 4pm and 1am, while influencing the

kind of alcohol guests drink not only at the event but after the event as well, when they go to

a night club. Currently, the Cape Town scene doesn’t have a spot that can be identified as

“the party before the party.” Drip or Drown is the perfect event to fill that gap in the market;

with great food, great company and music to match.
