The workshop is designed to empower you and to give you guidance as how to approach a radio station for employment and the various options available to you, it pays special attention to the aspiring on air presenter who wants to break into the market, if you on air at the moment this workshop will benefit you immensely as well.

MEET THE SPEAKERS:


Main speaker:

Mel Gahler is a very skilled broadcaster who has been in the radio industry for 26 years with a wide range of both on-air and off-air skills. . Mel Gahler plays a crucial role in mentoring and coaching on-air talent, his passion for the industry as a whole got him inducted into the Liberty Radio Hall of Fame in 2018.


Speaker:

Vovee Batala has been in the industry for over 20 years, his experience spans from music production to compiling and scheduling music at SABC Trufm, he is also responsible for the production of radio dramas which are currently aired on SABC Trufm, he is also a sought after producer and sound engineer with his own business.
