Something new is about to hit your shores. Like a fresh papaya on a hot summer’s day, we’re here for one reason: to quench your appetite for a good time but with a little extra flavour!
Welcome to the Love Foundation - an open network of artists and activists from around the world who organise various events to spread love, connect people and raise money to fund water development projects for communities that need clean water.
? A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY ?
The Love Foundation was the brainchild of two students and a designer in the Netherlands back in 2013. When hosting a couple of parties for charity grew into running a range of functions from music events, to arts exhibitions, fashion shows and more, this multifaceted organisation cemented its feet globally and is now present in many major cities around the world. Currently, active Love Hubs can be found in Maastricht, Amsterdam, Berlin, Milan, Tel Aviv, and Perth to name a few.
We are proud to be bringing the Love Foundation to Cape Town - the very first Love Hub in Africa!

Our journey begins with us coming together to create a piece of art. We’ll be setting up a canvas for anyone and everyone to come and leave their mark. Things are better when done together so don’t be shy! Come splash some colour and meet fellow lovers. Free up the mind and prepare the energy for a night of grooves and moves!

? PARTY WITH PURPOSE: WATER FOR ALL ?
Much like love, clean water is something humans struggle to live without. Sadly, it's not something that everyone has access to. Our mission alongside spreading love is to help communities gain access to clean drinking water, life’s most precious resource.
Something that makes the Cape Town Love Hub a little different is where the money is going. Love Foundation projects around the world have been set up to raise money for water projects in Kenya. But we’re well aware of the situation at home. Cape Town has been undergoing a serious water crisis and just because Helen Zille isn’t telling us to shower with a bucket anymore, that doesn’t mean we’re out of it. We’ll be donating 80% of all proceeds to the Water Development project FLOW (For Love Of Water) based in Laanrug, Cape Town. The remaining 20% will be reinvested in financing future Love Projects and events to come.
It’s lekker to let loose, but it’s even lekker-er to know your money’s going somewhere that counts. Ain’t that cool? Cool.
