The Business Development Association of Southern Africa (BDASA) was recently formed with more than 800 members. BDASA offers support to professional firms and in particular law and accounting firms:

• Workshop selection to fit your schedule
• Personal support to master the tools and techniques of Business Development (BD)
• Hands-on, practical application and small group feedback sessions
• Full Membership of the Business Development Association of Southern Africa (BDASA)

Workshop agenda:

In an increasingly competitive environment, it has become even more crucial for professional firms to implement business development practices. Understanding business development tools and techniques and how it can be applied within professional firms, not only support the growth strategy but ultimately increase the firm’s revenues.

Workshops will cover:

• Introductory workshop

1. Why is BD important?
2. What are the Pillars of BD?
3. What is BD maturity and excellence?
4. Assessment of your firm’s current state of BD maturity and excellence

• Mastery workshops

1. Identify areas for improving BD in your firm
2. Implement an effective BD capability in your firm

These interactive sessions are designed to equip you with a strong foundation of knowledge and a pool of techniques to grow your practice. It will also help you lay the building blocks in our business for active client acquisition initiatives and campaigns to drive revenue growth.

• Mastery workshop series (8 hours practical) - R 4 500
