ABOUT

Plant People Cape Town is so excited to be hosting Max Pichulik who will talk to us about innovation, social change and psychedlelics!

Max Pichulik has over 15 years’ experience working with purpose driven entrepreneurs and innovators across the African continent, helping them access capital, scale their ventures and create an impact on socio-economic and environmental issues. He co-founded one of the most successful purpose driven accelerators, Impact Amplifier, is considered a thought leader in impact investing on the African continent, and been actively involved in building a movement of entrepreneurs (social entrepreneurs) trying to solve the continent’s most pressing issues. Max also co-founded an Agri-tech venture, GreenFingers Mobile, which is scaling throughout the continent, and is the co-founder of an impact investment company, Earth Capital. At the core, Max has spent most of his career and personal development, intimately understanding human pain (including his own), which cascade into becoming socio-economic and environmental challenges, for which he has sought a myriad of solutions for.

For all the entrepreneurs, innovators, and emerging leaders out there, this event is for you. In this talk, Max tracks all his major failures, breakthroughs, strivings, tragedies, comedies and adventures in trying to find a meaningful and purpose driven place in this world. It’s a long journey walked, and a long journey just begun.

IN THIS DISCUSSION, MAX COVERS DISPERSE YET INTER-CONNECTED AREAS OF LIFE, FROM LOVE TO SOCIAL INNOVATION, TO BECOMING A FATHER, AND HIS LONG (NOW FORMER) USE OF PSYCHEDELICS ...FROM GIVING HIS FIRST TALK AT A WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM EVENT, TO SIMULTANEOUSLY GOING THROUGH A MENTAL COLLAPSE, AND PICKING ALL THE PIECES BACK UP.

"Like anyone I’ve taken some major hits in life, but all have served to help me grow, take on larger responsibilities, and take life less seriously. I hope to share some of these stories, and help those on their journey live up to their highest ideals, and become who they ‘already’ really are and were meant to be. There are no magic pills, no three steps to a successful life, or five minute ‘abs’ to become a billionaire. Just life, as it is … mortal, raw and real. I don’t pretend to be some expert in life, but I’ve definitely learnt to celebrate my flaws, weaknesses and fragility, which ironically is providing a new source of strength, expansion and success in my endeavours, which I hope to share. "

Please join us at SOUL! Space is limited and this is going to be a popular talk to please book in advance. (will update with the quicket link shortly!)

Looking forward to seeing you there!
