STUDIO SEVEN: EDDIE & THE ROBBERS - 29/3/2019

Hello Friends & Family! 

We know it's been a while since we invited you to a Studio Seven session at our original home in Sea Point, but when Eddie is in town, we like to go the extra mile and make it extra special. We would like to invite you to a VIP night with Eddie & The Robbers. Ej and his infamous Robbers will be telling stories from his wild journey, sharing the many ideas that frequent his mind and performing a selection of his favourite tracks. Ej, a passionate drummer, as well as an F1 supremo, Eddie was the founder and owner of the Jordan Racing Team, an F1 constructor which operated from 1991 to 2005. But now he can be found cycling through the streets of Cape Town as he's made our city his second home, commentating on BBC, being the occasional guest on Top Gear and playing with the Robbers across the globe with his trusty lead guitarist and vocalist Luca. 

Luca, from Pisa, Italy, went to London in 2006 and was quickly hooked on the british music scene. Anxious to become a part of it, he started busking in the famed piazza in Covent Garden. Come rain or shine he would draw crowds with his soulful pop rock. Invitations to perform in central London's pubs, clubs and private parties soon followed for him and his band. Shortly after Luca started playing all over the UK and it was while busking in Dublin he met Eddie. 

So I hope to see you on Friday, for some drinks, snacks and a couple of incredible tunes, like always, it's going to be a good Irish craic. See you then!
