Richelieu B (JHB)
Originally from KZN, this Comics’ Choice Award-nominated comedian is well-known for his various television appearances (‘LOL Show’ on Mzanzi Magic, ‘Live at Parkers’) as well as his highly acclaimed One-Man Comedy Show – ‘From Where I Stand’.
2016 saw him tearing up the national comedy scene performing massive, sold-out theatre shows alongside comedy ‘giants’ – the Goliaths – and last year he was crowned the grand winner of the prestigious Comedy Central Roast Battle!
He is arguably one of South Africa's hottest comedy stars, with MC and hosting skills second to none!
Definitely not to be missed!
Dave Levinsohn
Over the last 2 decades, Levinsohn has worked hard to become one of South Africa’s most bankable comedy acts.
His hilariously ‘off the cuff’ approach to everyday topics has won him fans across the country, as does his masterful ability to improvise with the crowd.
He has performed at the Vodacom International Comedy Festival, the Cape Town International and the Smirnoff Comedy Festival and is one of the first SA stand ups to be invited to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012 with Loyiso Gola.
He has graced the small screen, starring in several commercials, some of which have gone on to win awards and have become viral successes.
He co-presented the first series of SABC 3’s ‘Going Nowhere Slowly’ and was a head writer on MNet’s Late Night With Trevor Noah (2010).

Emilio Tobias
Emilio Tobias is a young Stand-Up Comedian from Eldorado, Johannesburg.
Considered one of the hot, new comics coming up in the scene, he has been making big strides in the industry since his 2015 debut.
Last year, he was selected to tour with SA's biggest comedy acts (Neil Green, Robby Collins, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Loyiso Madinga and Mpho Popps) on the #TrendingComics tour (a spin off of the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival).
He also took part in the 2nd annual Goliath Comedy Experience at the Goliath Comedy Club.
Emilio has played at various venues in almost every major city in South Africa and Namibia, and in 2017 he debuted his 2-man Comedy Special to a sold out crowd at the Joburg Theatre in Braamfontein.
Emilio made his Television debut on the 2nd season of Mzansi Comedy Nights on DSTV's Mzansi Magic.
The guy is likeable, genuine and FUNNY!
Simba (ZIM)
Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of stand-up comedy in Zimbabwe, Simba has been in the industry over a decade and has performed with Africa’s top acts.
He has written and performed 2 One-Man Shows and was awarded the National Arts Merit for “Most Outstanding Comedian” in 2014.
He has performed all over the country…and is back in Durban by popular demand!
