About

Catch the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE on the big screen for FREE at the opening of the 10th anniversary of the South African HORRORFEST!

One ticket per person. If you can't make the screening, please notify us so we can make the ticket available to those who may want to attend after the cinema capacity has been reached.

The movie that shocked the world celebrates its 40th anniversary, and with it you can get the rare opportunity to see it on the big screen.
A group of teenagers fall victim to a deranged family of cannibals in the Texas backwoods, in this gritty and intense Tobe Hooper movie - introducing the world to one of Horror's most noticeable and feared characters, the chainsaw wielding Leatherface.
(Loosely based on / inspired by serial killer Ed Gein)

For info on the rest of the HORRORFEST (running from 29 October - 7 November), which includes loads of movies and several short film chapters (you're unlikely to see in any SA cinema), live soundtrack performance to a classic silent film, literature, alternative market, Halloween dress-up competition and much more, head to www.HORRORFEST.info
