Are you with IT? Do you want others to get with IT? Attending the CuriosITy dinner is a golden opportunity to encourage girls to pursue careers in IT.
Grade 11 girls, from various schools across South Africa, want to hear more about how to succeed as a woman in the technology industry. They need your help to guide them in their tertiary education choices, building on their Information Technology or Computer Applications Technology school subjects. What does it take to land a job in this highly competitive industry? Is IT just coding? Or is it a complex profession which many different facets?
The CuriosITy dinner is a non-profit initiative hosted by Brescia House School.
During the dinner the Initiative will host a panel chaired by Corien Vermaak, LLB (Rau); LLM (Unisa) - An IT law specialist by trade. The panel will discuss several topics relevant to both the girls and IT professionals present and invite questions from the floor.
