The John Maxwell Global Youth Initiative aims to equip, inspire and empower youth to:

1. Develop Positive Self-Image: Great leaders portray self-confidence and good character.
2. Improve Respect for Self and Others: Great leaders do not bully or put others down. They value people and build them up.
3. Become a Positive Influence: Leadership is influence. Young people are the leaders of today and tomorrow.
4. Fail Forward toward Success: Leaders have the right attitude about failure as an important part of success.
