About

Halloween, the 1979 slasher movie that set the stage for all to follow in its wake, receives a special 35th anniversary global theatrical re-release, and the HORRORFEST is where you can get that rare chance!
The John Carpenter directed classic has been digitally restored and remastered by the film's cinematographer Dean Cundy.
This original chiller has
madman Michael Myers returning home after escaping a mental institution where he spent most of his life, terrorizing the town of Haddonfield (on Halloween night).  Starring Jamie Lee Curtis as the babysitter fighting to escape Michael's knife, and Donald Pleasance as the psychiatrist tracking Michael back to his home town.
This is a great opportunity to see Halloween in the cinema, for both those who were too young on its initial release, as well as fans who want to experience it one more time on the big screen
.

For info on the rest of the HORRORFEST (running from 29 October - 7 November), which includes loads of movies and several short film chapters (you're unlikely to see in any SA cinema), live soundtrack performance to a classic silent film, literature, alternative market, kids' screening, Halloween dress-up competition and much more, head to www.HORRORFEST.info
