*** VDUB CAMP FESTIVAL 2015 ***The SA Vdub Festival is the annual event for enthusiasts of all things German.
This pilgrimage attracts thousands of people who love modified cars, exceptional entertainment and the outdoor lifestyle.
Vdub Camp Fest is a two day event that is a highlight on the social and motorsport calendar, and benchmark for other car shows in Africa.

Once a year there comes a special time when we need to spend some quality time with our Dubs ;)
By the turn of a key they are the faithful ones that take us wherever we want to go, and make us feel all comfy when we hit the harsh roads all year long.
The first weekend of February is our annual tradition to pay respect to these beautiful creations.
Supporters and lovers of the VAG scene have a choice of visiting for a day (either Sat 7th Feb or Sun 8th Feb)
..or even better yet spend the entire weekend with fellow Vdub enthusiasts in your preference of camping or accommodation.
This year the organizers had the arduous task of finding an extraordinary venue for the esteemed and growing Festival. It is not only substantial space that was needed but also a venue that can impress in terms of facilities and infrastructure. Given the previous 38% female attendance demographic (one of the highest for motorshows), the Vdub Camp Fest committee had to pull all the stops to ensure that every facet of the event delivers enhanced levels of comfort and appeal to 2015 supporters.
The enormous ATKV BUFFELSPOORT resort in Magaliesburg was ultimately secured for the next event. The venue will offer more accommodation than the combined Abrahamsrust, Riverside Sun and Emerald Casino from the previous festival. Over and above 244 chalets the venue also boasts one of the very few 4-Star graded camping resorts in Africa. The numerous large and exquisite ablution facilities as well as paved camp sites are a rare attraction. Many camp sites have car-port shading and each site has its individual braai stand, power supply and water supply.
Owners of prestigious cars will be delighted that the venue roads are remarkably well maintained and the revered 2015 Show And Shine takes place on an attractive golf course for a setting like none seen before. The renowned competition will feature new categories from 300 competing vehicles and will establish the best cars for the year.
Visitors can expect various sponsored live demos and debut displays, unveiling of the latest industry products and innovative Camp Fest activities.
The venue also offers a very wide variety of stunning outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzis, water slides and assortment of fun activities for adults and children.
The event ticketing partner Quicket is introducing a brand new portable scanning facility this year and will enable a streamlined admission process for the event. The venue and organizers are also developing a new “tag-and-ride” system that will facilitate improved traffic flow into 4 separate entry and exit points.
As a precaution against any unforeseen bad weather the 2015 Camp Fest afterparty is being hosted indoors with massive sound and lighting features. The entertainment lineup includes a variety of celebrity acts that will be performing from the one-of-a-kind Amsterdam Golf - DJ booth.
Another flagship attraction is the Wolfsburg car which will be given away to one lucky supporter, and we will be announcing details of the 2015 project bus in upcoming issues of Max My Ride magazine.
Camp Fest 2015 has many surprises in the making and info will be announced ahead of the event.

# ACCOMMODATION & ADMISSION:
*FIRST RELEASE (1st October 2014 to 1st November 2014)
Vivo tickets (day visiting): R80 per person.
This entitles the visitor access from 07h00 until 17h00 on either Saturday or Sunday according to the respective day chosen.
GTI tickets (Overnight Dub Camp): R185 per person.
This entitles the visitor to access from 07h00 Saturday 7th February 2015, overnight camping space until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
GTI-R tickets (Early Arrival Dub Camp): R280 per person.
This entitles the visitor to access from 13h00 Friday 6th February 2015, two nights camping space until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
Caravelle tickets (Safari House): R380 per person per night.
These guests are compulsory for two nights stay over. Therefore total ticket value per person is R760 and entitles the visitor access from 13h00 Friday 6th February 2015, two nights safari house accommodation until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
Example of total cost calculation:
- 4 Sleeper Caravelle unit (4 persons x R380 x 2 nights) = R3,040
These guests are compulsory for two nights stay over. Therefore total ticket value per person is R800 and entitles the visitor access from 13h00 Friday 6th February 2015, two nights chalet accommodation until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
Example of total cost calculation:
- 4 Sleeper Scirocco chalet (4 persons x R400 x 2 nights) = R3,200
These guests are compulsory for two nights stay over. Therefore total ticket value per person is R1,200 and entitles the visitor access from 13h00 Friday 6th February 2015, two nights luxury villa accommodation until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
Example of total cost calculation:
- 6 Sleeper Bugatti villa (6 persons x R600 x 2 nights) = R7,200
Wolfsburg tickets: Every general ticket holder in 2014 stands a chance of winning the Wolfsburg car! No additional or separate ticket purchase is required.
*SECOND FINAL RELEASE (2nd November 2014 to 5th February 2015)
Vivo tickets (day visiting): R100 per person.
This entitles the visitor access from 07h00 until 17h00 on either Saturday or Sunday according to the respective day chosen.
GTI tickets (Overnight Dub Camp): R200 per person.
This entitles the visitor to access from 07h00 Saturday 7th February 2015, overnight camping space until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
GTI-R tickets (Early Arrival Dub Camp): R300 per person.
This entitles the visitor to access from 13h00 Friday 6th February 2015, two nights camping space until end of show at 17h00 Sunday 8th February 2015.
Caravelle tickets (Safari house): Same as first release.
Scirocco tickets (VIP chalet accommodation): Same as first release.
Bugatti tickets (MVP villa accommodation): Same as first release.

*AD HOC > Tiguan Tickets (Omaramba Resort Camping): R300 per person.
This ticket allows one person camping for 2 nights (both Friday 6th Feb & Saturday 7th Feb 2015). Camping sites are located at OMARAMBA resort next to Buffelspoort dam.
Includes access to event show area on Saturday and Sunday, admission to Camp Fest Afterparty and free entry into the Wolfsburg giveaway car draw.

Kiddies ticket prices are as follows:
Day-Visit & Camping (12 years and over) full price.
Day-Visit & Camping (under 12 years) half price....
Day-Visit & Camping (under 3 years) no charge.
GTI children's tickets are not available on pre-sale, the kiddies will be charged at the gate as their age is verified upon entry.
Children at Caravelle, Scirocco and Bugatti accommodation:
Any individual who requires their own bed is at normal cover charge. Infants who share a bed with a parent are not charged. Infants are defined as young children under the age of 3 years

GTI camping access (Gate 1): From 07h00 on Sat 7th February 2015.
All Caravelle units are 2 star standard, Scirocco VIP accommodation are generally 3 star graded and Bugatti MVP villas are 4 star luxury standard.
Caravelle, Scirocco and Bugatti tickets entitle visitors 24 hour access to the show or afterparty, with a separate entry/ exit gate.
GTI camping sites are adequate for maximum 8 persons. Note that the GTI ticket entitles the visitor to event access, Wolfsburg car draw and camping space only. All camping equipment, tents and sleeping gear must be supplied by the visitor himself/ herself.
Every general or VIP ticket holder in 2014 stands a chance of winning the Wolfsburg car! No additional or separate ticket purchase is required.
Please note that it is policy from the ATKV establishment that eg; 4 sleepers require 4 persons, and 6 sleepers require 6 persons for bookings. A supporter may therefore not book a 4 sleeper unit for only 1, 2 or 3 people at a discount. Full capacity for chalets or villas must be purchased even if all the beds in a unit are not occupied.
All accommodation is self-catering and there are general stores, vendors, restaurant and a food court on site for catering and general supplies. Food vendors include halaal.
There are ATMs on site for visitor perusal.
The venue is fully licensed to sell refreshments. Visitors are allowed to bring their own beverage and food but please note the following conditions:
Liquor is allowed at the accommodation areas, camping areas, show area and after party, however no alcohol is permitted at the swimming pools.
No glass bottles are permitted. Please purchase refreshments in cans and decant spirits into plastic containers ahead of the event.
Take note that for camping, you need a 3 pin caravan/campers plug if you require power supply to your tent. For the 2015 event all camp sites have electricity supply points. Note that camp sites with car port shading cannot be reserved, please ensure that you arrive early to select your preference if needed.
All entry tickets will be scanned at our gate box office (ensure that you do not buy tickets off the street).

Full R.O.A.R is applicable for any unruly behaviour and no firearms/ weapons/ dangerous objects will be allowed to enter.
Please note that this is a child friendly event and no spinning of vehicles will be tolerated at the venue.
We urge all patrons not to indulge in any illegal substances and we will have provincial authorities and SAPS on site to deal with transgressors.
