The Steps to Reaching Work-Life Balance | Future Females Stellenbosch

ABOUT

The dream of working nine to five, five days a week, with Saturdays and Sundays off, is going to be a thing of the past, according to British Billionaire Richard Branson and many other influential public figures. In other words, these world leaders are predicting that we will be working less while being paid the same, which should inherently lead to more leisure time. You might think this is absurd, as most of us already find it incredibly difficult to finish that big project we're working on without neglecting our families and friends, as well as lacking time to pursue our passions, feel-good sports, exotic language lessons, etc. So what's the recipe to balancing this act?

This month, yes at our first (of hopefully many) event in Stellenbosch, we will focus on the importance of work-life balance and learn the steps to reaching this harmonious and holistic arena. You will also discover the tools to integrate the various aspects of your life to achieve productiveness, effectiveness and inspiration through action.

Join us in at the LaunchLab in Stellenbosch on Monday 25 Feb, as we listen to our two keynote speakers lined-up for the evening. Sibella Knott-Craig is a Chartered Accountant, Social Entrepreneur & creator of award-winning educational apps Xander. Alra Bekker is the Founder and Managing Director of 25 on Quantum Cafe at Techno Park. Our speakers will be sharing about their businesses, experiences and how they relate to the theme of the night - "The Steps to Reaching Work-Life Balance".

This is an open event for anyone (yes men too!) interested in networking, meeting our community and potential investors. There will be wine, snacks, and lovely people to chat and connect with.

Future Females is partnering up with Vondeling Wines (https://www.vondelingwines.co.za/) for their first event of 2019! A perfectly blended selection of Vondeling wines along with other delicious snacks will be available for you to enjoy. Future Females will also be doing a few special giveaways and several lucky find tickets up for grabs. There is also plenty safe parking.

Last but not least, since February is the month of *love* - we are focusing on spreading love to the world. We will be facilitating a charity collection for Red Cross Children's Hospital. Please bring anything you'd like to donate (clothes, toys, baby stuff, etc.) to the event on Monday 25 Feb - alternatively, you can purchase a ticket with an added donation. We will then go and purchase supplies for the hospital using the donation. Thank you! :)
