ABOUT
To all of you who doodled, supported, bought doodles, sponsored us, missed out because the weather was bad (we forgive you), come and join us to see what your participation has enabled us to do at the Thomas Wildschutt Senior Primary in Retreat! We raised a whopping R130 000 through art, creativity, and fun at Night of 1000 Drawings and we can't wait to put it all towards upgrading this school!
We will be having an awesome fun filled day at the school - planting, painting, computering and braaing. Yes, you heard right, one big SOUTH AFRICAN BRAAI!!
Here's how the day will work:
The event is totally free but you must join a team before the day! So RSVP for yourself (and your friends and family) by clicking on the ticket link above and then come and celebrate Heritage Day by getting your hands dirty!

These are the three organizations that will be implementing the upgrade at the school. Read on to see how you can get involved!
GreenPop:
On a mission to (re)connect people with our planet. We will be planting 60 trees and having fun doing it! It's a TREEvolution! We have space for 60 volunteers so sign up by clicking on the tickets link now!
Urban Harvest Edible Gardens:
Come and plant with us! We will be beginning the installation of a beautiful vegetable garden and need as many volunteers as possible! Sign up for our team by clicking on the tickets link!
See-Saw-Do:
Come and paint with us! We have space for 50 volunteers to paint a beautiful themed mural: Looking After our Planet!!! (Great theme for the youth at this school). Sign up for the painting team by clicking on the tickets link!
HELP : Homework - Enrichment - Lifeskills - Programme:
We will be able to afford 6 computers, an electrician and printer from the money raised from Night of 1000 Drawings Cape Town 2014. We do not need volunteers on the day but if anyone knows a computer company willing to donate additional computers, hook us up!
Also... We need a BRAAI MASTER. If anyone is interested in being master of the tongs for the day, let us know!

- 9:30am: Get to work!
- 1:00pm: Braai!
