Introducing coding to the classroom

Discover why coding in the 21st century is important as we demystifying the myths around the coding language as well as the many benefits of teaching students to Code. Together we will explore the developing skills associated diets code and get comfortable with using the terminology
Integrating coding concepts to the curriculum

During this session we will explore coding terminology & concepts in more depth and explore how we introduce coding and coding concepts into the classroom. We will unpack what the difference is between introduction activities and unplugged activities. Together we will unpack how we can enhance students ‘experience of learning’ through coding activities
Introduction to Sphero Robotics

Creatively designed lessons incorporating robotics can develop many of the attributes we want for our learners. Come and see the potential of including robotics in your classroom. You will learn how to design and create code to direct the Sphero Robot all while encouraging communication, collaboration, problem solving, testing failing and iterating skills - all characteristics of 21st Century teachers & learners.
