Ducks & Grassy Lawns

There is a little gem nestled in the heart of Claremont which is the area's best kept secret & I want to share it with you!

Ardene Gardens was established in 1845 by Ralph Henry Arderne and covers 5 hectares of land right along the main road. There are more than 300 trees in the garden - one of the enormous fig trees is known as 'The Wedding Tree' and is said to bring good luck to newlyweds.

There are all kinds of animals to be found in the garden - ducks, geese (who currently have some goslings in tow), peacocks, squirrels and many other little critters.

Come and join us for a bit of exploration, feeding of ducks, a game of frisbee or just to chill out on the lawns - the weather looks like it's going to be fantastic.
