ABOUT

Event: Come join Ban Animal Trading, Sea Shepherd South Africa and Asher's Farm Sanctuary for a screening of Racing Extinction. This non graphic documentary uses state of the art cinematography and photography to deliver an incredible documentary that, is filled with scenes which will take an audience's breath away while highlighting the plight of the natural world as it faces it's sixth major extinction event.

Asher's is a world class farm sanctuary where the happiness and well being of their animals is paramount. You can book a tour on the day that will allow you to interact with the animals in the company of Asher's dedicated staff who will also tell you the story behind each animal and how they arrived at the sanctuary. If you would like to book a tour, please contact: [email protected] , there will be two tours on the day with each tour being able to accommodate ten people. You are welcome walk around outside the paddocks and interact with the animals over the fence. They love to say hi!

Schedule:

10:00 - Asher's opens their doors, you are welcome to arrive anytime from then.

11:00 - Screening (1h30m). Popcorn will be avaialble (R20 a bag).

12:30 - 14:00 - Grab lunch from the Sanctuary's tea garden and interact with the animals.
