A Team of proudly South African Entrepreneurs have a shared vision to make a difference in communities around South Africa, have decided to summit Kilimanjaro in July 2019 as part of the Trek4Mandela Initiative. The Trek4Mandela challenge is a one of a kind, collaborative initiative supported by the Imbumba Foundation and the Nelson Mandela Foundation. It is one of 3 holistic programmes run by the Imbumba Foundation to help the girl child shape her future. The initiative is aimed at creating awareness about the plight facing young girls during menstruation and who do not have the funds to buy sanitary pads to keep them in school. Funds raised are aimed at plugging this gap to enable young girls to continue their education without interruption as to affirm their dignity as human beings.
