Happy Hippo is well known for being a back packers but for the last few months it's rooftop has been used as a comedy venue, managed by Cyril Basker who is a comedian and who has shared the stage with many comedians such like Carvin Goldstone, Robby Collins, Tats Nkonzo, Khanyiso Bunu, Neil Green and many more. Happy Hippo is a rooftop venue with a thatch where comedy happens and a beautiful garden area where you can relax and chill with friends and family.
