Introduction to Meditation Workshop
In this day and age it is hard to find even a moment when our mind is peaceful and at rest. It often feels like the only relief from the business of our mind is going to sleep!
Buddha explained that meditation is the key to bringing peace and calm to our mind and life.
This workshop provided the perfect opportunity to be introduction to meditation. The session will include guided meditations, an explanation of how to meditate and practical advice on how to use meditation to free our mind from stress and anxiety.
Colinda Linde will be our teacher. Colinda has been practicing Buddhism for many years and is admired for her warmth, enthusiasm and joyful approach to teaching meditation. She teaches our “Meditation for Children” classes where kids can learn simple techniques for keeping a happy mind in daily life. Colinda also teaches our weekly meditation class in Blairgowrie and several special courses annually.
